Hall of Fame
Derr played football at KSC from 1927 through 1930 and was noted for his long punts of 60 and 70 yards and was team co-captain his last two years. He also was an outstanding track performer and played a number of years of semi-professional football. A former worker for the state government of Alaska and the Alaska Chamber of Commerce, Derr recently returned to Pennsylvania and resides at Pleasant Gap. He was originally from the Pennsburg area.
