Hall of Fame
Whary played for Kutztown in the 1972, ’73, and ’74 seasons. Under Coach Bob Maze, he was named to the second team All-Conference as quarterback as a sophomore. The following years, under Coach George Baldwin, he was name to the first team All-Conference defensive back as a junior and senior, and was an honorable mention All-State defensive back his senior year. As a senior, he also won the Golden Bear of the Year award. He is married to Terese and they have a daughter and a son. He is presently a social studies teacher and head football coach at Wilson Area High School in Easton.
