Patton retired last year after teaching and coaching at KSC for nearly 30 years. He led KSC football teams to some of the best seasons in the college’s history and also was responsible for setting up the intramural program. From 1931 to 1934, Patton played guard and tackle on the famous Colgate University football team. During his four years there, Colgate lost only one game. He also lettered in basketball at the university.
