Joseph Musso (1939) was a two-way player for the Golden Bears starting his final three years. Musso played on three winning teams. The newest inductee played tight end on offense and defensive end making him a rare 40-minute a game player. He started for four years in basketball playing at center. As a freshman (1935-36) Musso started at center and helped the team to an 11-2 record and the school’s then first Pennsylvania Teachers Conference basketball championship. Musso later returned to Kutztown as an athletic coach, administrator and faculty member. He also was Director of Student Activities and advisor to the campus student government.
