Gus Yatron, who played as a two-way tackle at KSC 1946-47, and is now serving his sixth term as a U.S. Congressman in Pennsylvania’s Sixth District, was named in the special recognition category. Yatron, who serves on the prestigious House Foreign Affairs Committee, was a fullback as a freshman at Reading High, but then was moved to tackle where he played both ways every game in his final three seasons before playing at KSC. At 6-1, 220 in 1946-47, he was considered as “one of the giants” in the line.
