Jeff Angstadt (’76) played forward for the Kutztown men’s soccer team from 1972-75. He set six school records which still stand today. His records include goals (24 in 1975), assists (9 in 1975), and points (57 in 1975) in a season; goals (49) and points (115) in a career; and goals in a game (5 in 1975). His 57 points in the 1975 season established a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) record, which was tied in 1995. Angstadt was named to the Mid-Atlantic All-America Team in 1975 and was an All-PSAC pick in 1974 and 1975. A team captain as a senior, Angstadt was a second-round draft pick of the Philadelphia Atoms professional soccer team. He was a member of the Kappa Mu Epsilon Mathematics Honor Society and graduated magna cum laude.
