Debbie Myrick-Dorsey is the first volleyball player to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Dorsey played for the Golden Bears from 1982-85, earning a varsity letter each year. In her senior year, Dorsey was named most valuable player of the PSAC. She was named first team All-PSAC East and first team All-PSAC in 1985, and received the Lehigh Valley Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (LVAIAW) Volleyball Award. In 1983, Dorsey played on the winningest volleyball team in school history. The Golden Bears finished 25-15, as Dorsey earned a spot on the PSAC All-Tournament Team. Dorsey is currently employed as a sales consultant for Bell Atlantic of PA. She and her husband, Scott (‘86), have two children.
