Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic Results
 
LEWISBURG, Pa. & LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – Senior thrower Rosealine Farrell (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) tossed a NCAA provisional mark in the hammer throw on Saturday to lead the Kutztown University women's track and field team in dual-meet action at the Rider Invitational and Bucknell's Bison Outdoor Classic.
 
At Rider, Farrell led a very strong core of field competitors with Kutztown's second national-mark of the outdoor season (R. Eshleman). She tossed a season-best mark of 170-02 for fourth overall in the event. Farrell, the defending Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champion in the hammer, rates second in the conference this season behind Millersville's Vanessa Hower.
 
Farrell's mark was one of 19 PSAC marks on Saturday, nine of which were new marks. Emma Sullivan (Phoenixville, PA/Methacton) won the pole vault against many Division I competitors. Her mark of 11-7.75 was her best mark of the outdoor season and just .02m off a NCAA provisional. Destiny Distasio (Tunkhannock, PA/Tunkhannock) finished third in the vault in an existing PSAC mark of 10-8.
 
Senior Rachel Eshleman (Lancaster, PA/Lampeter-Strasburg) finished second in the high jump at 5-5, an existing PSAC mark. Fellow senior Nicole Brumbley (Oxford, PA/Oxford Area) also had a top three finish in the javelin in a season-best throw of 133-02.
 
Rebecca Tooker (Sandyston, NJ/Kittatinny) and Valerie Mizansky (Hampstead, MD/North Carroll) punched their tickets to the conference meet with new marks in the long jump. Tooker led the duo at 17-8 for seventh, as Mizansky finished in 12th at 17-2. Tooker also posted a new PSAC mark in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 35-7.75.
 
Nicole Wildermuth (Oak Ridge, NJ/Jefferson Township) and Carli Thurber (Califon, NJ/West Morris Central) each had two PSAC marks on the day. Wildermuth was third in the discus in a career-best 121-08 and ninth in the hammer throw at 131-07. Thurber was fourth in the discus at 116-09 and sixth in the shot put at 36-9.50.
 
On the track, Kutztown's 4x100 team posted the lowest time of the season. The quartet of Caleigh Coates (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin), Distasio, Bria Evans (Philadelphia, PA/G.W. Carver of E&S) and Nicole Boldosser (Mechanicsburg, PA/Cedar Cliff) finished in sixth place in 49.16. KU's second team of Torrey Hollis (Hughesville, PA/Hughesville), Allie VanZant (Media, PA/Penncrest), Evan Dangerfield (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Prendergast) and Mizansky finished ninth in 49.37 seconds, still lower than the team-best time entering the weekend.
 
Kimberly Richardson (Morton, PA/Springfield) and Torrey Hollis (Hughesville, PA/Hughesville) finished four places apart in a pair of PSAC marks in the 100m hurdles. Richardson posted a new mark and finished seventh overall in 15.63 seconds. Hollis' was an existing mark of 15.89 for 11th overall.
 
Boldosser finished 11th in the 400 in an existing conference mark of 59.77 seconds. In the 100, Dangerfield led seven Golden Bears with a seventh place finish. Her time of 12.70 seconds was a career-best time and a new PSAC mark this season. Kimberly Katzgrau (Oak Ridge, N.J./Pope John XXIII) (5:02.66) and Olivia Dettore (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) (5:19.93) also finished in career-best times in the 1500 at Rider.
 
At Bucknell, three new PSAC marks were posted by distance runners. Corinne Manela (Philadelphia, Pa./Saint Basil Academy) landed on the KU leaderboard for 10th all-time in the 5000 with her ninth place finish in 18:06.77. Jayme Daly (Sunbury, PA/Shikellamy) also posted a new PSAC mark in the 5000 at Bucknell at 18:24.81, just .3 seconds off her career-best time.
 
Jenn Cleary (Chesapeake City, MD/Bohemia Manor) and Carolyn Fergus (Lansdale, PA/North Penn) also posted new conference-qualifying marks in distance events. Fergus posted a time of 11:45.96 in the 3000 steeplechase, and Cleary finished in 4:44.36.
