SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The distance duo of Maura Lenhart (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) and Sage Dunkleberger (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) registered top 10 finishes in the 10,000 meter run, Thursday, as the Kutztown University women's track & field team began competition at the 2025 PSAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by Slippery Rock University.

Lenhart finished in the points for the second year in a row, improving upon last year's eighth-place showing with a seventh-place effort during the final event of the night. The sophomore from Center Valley, Pa., spent the entirety of the 25-lap race in the top 10 and clocked a season-best 38:58.01 to secure Kutztown's first two team points of the meet.

Dunkleberger fought back from 17th past the halfway point of the race to work into the top 10 with 1600 meters to go and brough home a ninth-place finish in a personal best 39:21.13.

The Golden Bears were also represented by a pair of student-athletes in the hammer throw. Kennedy Bulger (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) placed 16th with a best throw of 40.85m (134-0) and Kate Nolan (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) was 20th after her longest throw registered 38.43m (126-1).

Kutztown will be well represented, Friday, when competition begins at 10 a.m. The Golden Bears have entries in preliminary heats of the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 400m hurdles and 4x100m relay. Point-paying events with entries include the 3000m steeplechase, high jump and discus throw.
