RESULTS
EDINBORO, PA (February 28, 2010) – Sean Gentry won the high jump with a NCAA provisional qualifying and school record clearance of 6 feet, 10.75 inches at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship meet Sunday afternoon. The Golden Bears finished seventh overall with 47 points.
Gentry's victory was a slight upset as he bested Indiana (Pa.)'s Leander Toney, who entered the event with the sixth-best national distance.

T.J. Longmore was third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.36). The Golden Bears' 4 x 800-meter relay team of Jonathan Byrne, Matt Reightler, Eli Weeks and Shaun Crump was fifth (7:58.80). The jumping combination of Matt Cannell and Greg Senatore were sixth in the long jump and triple jump, respectively. Cannell finished with an effort of 22-11.75 and Senatore leaped 47-6.50.

The 4 x 400-meter relay team of Kori Meshaw, Percell Berry, Cannell and Crump finished sixth (3:20.65). Overall, the men had two NCAA qualifiers, a school-record effort and placed 10 athletes on the all-time performance list.

Kutztown concludes the 2009-10 indoor track and field season by competing at the NCAA championships in Albuquerque (NM) on the weekend of March 11-13.
