WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Kutztown University men's track & field team had student-athletes compete in five different events Friday at the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va., and each event had a representative earn a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying mark.
 
Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone), Jordon Floyd (Westampton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional), TJ White (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg), Giordanovenchy Cerisier (North Wales, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) and Matt Salazar (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) all will be able to compete at PSACs in May.
 
DeFusco had a second-place finish in the long jump 'championship' bracket with a best leap of 7.07m (23-2.5) and scored eight points. Floyd also placed second in the long jump 'university' bracket at 6.75m (22-1.75). White was a third Golden Bear that medaled, coming in third in the high jump at 1.91m (6-3.25), a personal-best.
 
On the track, Salazar earned a PR and PSAC time of 1:56.16 and a top-10 finish in the 800m. Cerisier's time of 15:37.30 was a qualifying time in the 5000m. Domenick Wallace (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) also ran in the 800m and had a personal-best time of 1:57.78, just missing a PSAC time.
 
Kutztown will have a split contingent between Saturday's Colonial Relays and the Millersville Metrics meet.
