KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Senior Kevin Givone (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) and freshman Andrew Szeplaki (Bath, Pa./Northampton) of the Kutztown men's outdoor track & field team will have their 2026 seasons continue as the duo was selected to compete at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held May 21-23 at Emporia State University in Kansas.
 
Both will be competing on the Saturday, May 23, with Givone in the javelin throw and Szeplaki in the pole vault. It is the second NCAA appearance for Givone, who also participated during the 2024 season, and the first for Szeplaki.
 
The javelin is set to begin at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday and the pole vault is slated to start at 3:00 p.m.
 
Givone is the No. 21 seed in the javelin with a mark of 66.37m, which he threw in the opening meet, the Keystone Challenge at Shippensburg University on March 21. Szeplaki is the No. 11 seed in the pole vault with a highest clearance of 5.27m, which he achieved at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, back on April 23.
