EDINBORO, Pa. – Tyeshawn Worrell (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) ran a blazing time of 6.84, improving upon his program record in the 60m and also adding an NCAA-Provisional in the process, and the Kutztown University men's track & field team ranks fourth overall out of 12 schools after day one, Saturday, at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Edinboro University.

Worrell qualified for the 60m final on Sunday. He bested his previous PR and program record by 0.07.

Three Golden Bears earned team points, including
Giordanovenchy Cerisier (North Wales, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) in the 5000m, placing seventh at 15:32.44. On the field side,
Jason Mraz (Edison, N.J./Edison) was runner-up in the pole vault with a top clearance of 4.50m (14-9) for eight points and
Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) finished in sixth in the long jump at 6.89m 922-7.25).

Cameron Baumgardner (Emmitsburg, Md./Catoctin) competed in four events in the heptathlon so far and sits in ninth with 2210 points.
