STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Kutztown University men's track & field team was in Staten Island, N.Y., Friday competing in the Fastrack National Invite, the final road meet of the regular season.
 
Giordanovenchy Cerisier (North Wales, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) highlighted the Golden Bears on the track, running a 15:24.64 in the 5000m, which is the eighth-fastest time in program history. Matt Salazar (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Hills) also earned a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-qualifying time in the 800m and Don Hill (Philadelphia, Pa./Neshaminy) reached a personal-best time of 53.02 in the 400m.
 
Other PSAC marks on the day include Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) and Jordon Floyd (Westampton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional) in the triple jump, Tracey White and Harley Cheatham (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem) in the high jump and Nate Schaeffer (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) in the pole vault.
 
Kutztown will be competing in its final regular season match next Friday, Feb. 18, at home. The Golden Bears will be hosting the annual KU Last Chance Qualifier at O'Pake Fieldhouse beginning at 4 p.m.
