FULL RESULTS
KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Darien Clarke (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink) competed in the final five events of the decathlon, Friday, as the Kutztown University-hosted Mondschein Multi wrapped up from Andre Reed Stadium.
Clarke slipped back from third to sixth in the final standings, totaling 4,281 points. His best performance of the day came in the 1500-meter run, where a time of 5:21.41 earned the sophomore 443 points. Clark's top finish against his peers was in the discus, with his best throw of 22.22m (72'10") ranked fourth among six competitors.
Clarke also took part in the 110-meter hurdles (19.90), pole vault and javelin (28.18m, 92'5").
Tommy Oliver (Bensalem, Pa./Bensalem), who also took part in the meet for the Golden Bears, ran a 19.21 in the 110m hurdles.
Kutztown is back in action tomorrow at West Chester with a larger representation in the Bill Butler Invitational.
