BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) won three different events to highlight the Kutztown University men's track & field team at the Coach P Invitational Saturday, hosted by Moravian College.
 
DeFusco placed first in the high jump, long jump and triple jump, all personal-bests. His mark of 7.19m in the long jump ranks fourth all-time in program history, while his best jump of 13.96m in the triple jump is tied for 10th all-time.
 
Andrew Sulon (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) crossed the finish line first in the 3000m steeplechase at 10:01.28 and Xavier Feliciano (Kennett Square, Pa./Kennett) won the pole vault event, clearing 4.26m to round out the KU winners. Tyler Fenske (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley) placed second in the discus and Joan Estrella (Reading, Pa./Reading) finished second in the javelin.
 
The Golden Bears will continue their lead up to the 2021 PSAC Outdoor Championships with the Paul Kaiser Classic at Shippensburg University next Saturday. Shippensburg will also play host to the conference championship meet May 6-8.
