West Chester, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's track & field team returned to competition Saturday at West Chester University for the first time since May of 2019. KU had four event winners on the day to highlight the action.

Zach Austen (Enola, Pa./Cumberland Valley),
Tyler Fenske (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Valley),
Larry Brown (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) and
Jason Staunton (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow). Austen finished first in the pole vault, Staunton placed first in the shot put, Fenske won the discus and Brown was the leader of the hammer throw group.

Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) just missed a top-10 mark in the long jump, finishing second with a top jump of 6.94m (22-9.25).

The 4x4 relay team of
Savaughn Hebron (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy),
John Ismen (Bethlehem, Pa./Hunterdon Central (N.J.)),
Teagan Fortna (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks West) and
Cameron Baumgardner (Emmitsburg, Md./Catoctin) crossed the finish line in second place.

Kutztown returns to action next weekend at the Millersville Metrics meet on Saturday, April 3.
