Complete Game Notes
SERIES HISTORY: Saturday marks the 70th meeting between Kutztown and East Stroudsburg, dating back to 1904 as the second-longest rivalry in school history. ESU holds a 46-22-1 advantage in the all-time series, but KU has won five of the last six matchups. In the last six years, KU's average margin of victory in its five wins is 22.2 points. Prior to the recent run beginning in 2010, ESU had won nine in-a-row over Kutztown from 2000-09.
LAST YEAR: Kutztown scored 21 points in three different quarters in its 63-17 over ESU last year at Andre Reed Stadium. KU's first offensive play went for a school-record 98-yard touchdown, it put up 622 yards of total offense - the most for the program since 2012 - and its defense limited ESU's then-top-10 offense in Division II to below-average marks in scoring, passing and total offense.
LAST WEEK: Last Saturday was another monumental game for the Kutztown University football team. KU jumped out to a 27-0 lead over Bloomsburg University in a 34-24 victory at Andre Reed Stadium – putting KU into sole possession of first place in the PSAC Eastern Division. It marked Kutztown's third win over Bloomsburg in the last 25 years – the first since its PSAC Championship season in 2011. Kutztown now stands alone atop the PSAC East at 3-0 in the division, 3-3 overall.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Redshirt-freshman quarterback
Collin DiGalbo (Secane, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) led Kutztown to a 34-24 victory over Bloomsburg last weekend, earning him this week's PSAC Eastern Division Offensive Athlete of the Week. It is the third straight week a Golden Bear has won the Offensive Athlete of the Week award. DiGalbo moved to 3-0 since taking over as starting quarterback in Week 4. He showcased his throwing and running ability with 373 yards of total offense – 247 through the air and 126 on the ground – for four total touchdowns (two passing, two rushing). His day was highlighted late in the first half. On a designed run on 3rd-and-3 from Kutztown's own 18-yardline, DiGalbo sprinted up the middle, evaded wimpy tacklers and went 82 yards for a touchdown. It marked the longest touchdown run by a KU quarterback in school history.
RECORD RUNS: Collin DiGalbo (Secane, Pa./Monsignor Bonner) ran for 126 yards in last week's win vs. Bloomsburg, including an 82-yard touchdown run. It marked school-records for the longest and most rushing yards by a quarterback in a game.
RUSHING DEFENSE: Kutztown ranks fourth in the PSAC and 22nd in Division II in rushing defense, allowing 101.7 yards per game. It is the second-best mark in the modern era at KU, behind a record 97.2 yards per game in 1995. Notably, KU is coming off holding Bloomsburg to 32 yards last week, the fewest in a game for the Huskies since 1992.
SACK LUNCH: Kutztown leads the PSAC and ranks fifth in Division II at 4.17 sacks per game, second-most in school history behind a record 4.70 per game in 1985. KU has had eight and nine sacks in a game this season, both in the top-four in KU single-game history.
RUSHING ATTACK: Kutztown ranks third in the PSAC at 216.2 rushing yards per game. KU has run for more yards than it has passed in 4-of-6 games this season.
MOVING FORWARD: Kutztown has rushed for 100 or more yards in 14 straight games, dating back to 2015. Under head coach
Jim Clements, KU is 14-6 when rushing for triple-digit yardage.

The redshirt-freshman ranks second in the PSAC in completion percentage (.664) and fourth in passing efficiency (142.0).
THE REYNOLDS RAP: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) ranks second in the PSAC with 644 rushing yards (107.3 per game) and third with nine touchdowns. He is currently 1-of-8 players in school history to average 100 or more rushing yards in a season and the first since 2001.
100-YARD RUNNER: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) averages 107.3 rushing yards per game, 1-of-5 players in the PSAC to currently average 100+ per game. He posted three straight 100-yard games earlier this season, a first for KU since 2001.
BIG PLAY ABILITY: Craig Reynolds (Willow Grove, Pa./Abington) has a team-high 11 plays of 20 yards or more this year, 10 runs and one catch.
MATCHUP OF TOP RUNNERS: East Stroudsburg's Robert Healy and Kutztown's

HOPING TO BREAK THE STREAK: KU has missed an extra point in all six games this season, a streak it hopes to break Saturday.
NO FIELD GOALS FOR US: KU is the only team in the PSAC to not attempt a field goal this season.
LEAVING A LEGACY: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) has a chance to rewrite the KU record books in his senior season. He ranks second all-time at KU with 28 career receiving touchdowns and 2,590 receiving yards, and third with 186 catches.
KELLEN'S CORNER: Kellen Williams (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg), a two-time All-PSAC East wide receiver, ranks fifth among active Division II players in career receiving touchdowns, seventh in receiving yards and eighth in receptions. He has six touchdowns this season - fourth in the PSAC - and has caught a pass in 34-of-35 career games.
DEFENSIVE LEADER: Zack Delp (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) surpassed 250 career tackles last week and has made a team-high 29 consecutive starts at linebacker for KU. A two-time All-PSAC selection, Delp has notched 10 or more tackles in 11 games in his career, including twice this season. He leads KU with 49 tackles this season, 10th in the PSAC at 8.2 per game, and ranks 10th all-time at KU with 254 career tackles and 13th with 13.0 sacks.
SENSATIONAL SOPHOMORE:
Tajier Jefferson (East Orange, N.J./Queen of Peace), the returning PSAC East Freshman of the Year, is second on KU with 48 tackles. He has four career 10+ tackle games and ranks 13th in the PSAC at 8.0 per game. PERRY'S PICKS: Jake Perry (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) co-leads the PSAC with a career-high three interceptions. He is 1-of-4 players in the PSAC with three.
INTERCEPTIONS: Kutztown has seven interceptions through six games after having six all of last season.
BLOCKING THE BLOCKERS: After allowing four blocked punts in the first two weeks, KU has improved its coverage with none in the last four weeks. However, KU's four blocked punts allowed remain tied for the most in the NCAA this season, across all divisions.
