Box Score KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to Bloomsburg University on Wednesday afternoon in its home-finale at Keystone Courts in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division action.
The Golden Bears (4-10, 1-5 PSAC East) won its most games in a finished match at the top flights of singles and doubles. In doubles action,
Vicki Norman and
Emily Wesoloski won two games in an 8-2 loss, and at No. 1 singles,
Jessica Burns won three games in the first set of a 6-3, 6-0 setback.
In an unfinished match at No. 3 singles, Wesoloski dropped a tough 7-6 first set and was in a tight second set before it was called.
Since the Golden Bears are eliminated from playoff contention, the season-finale is set for Friday, April 17 for a non-conference match at Millersville University beginning at 2 p.m.
