BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – As a preparation for next week's conference championships, the Kutztown University women's tennis team competed in a pair of non-conference matches on Saturday afternoon at the Bloomsburg Duals. In a first-to-five format, KU dropped 5-0 scores to Charleston and Bluefield State.
 
Against Charleston, the doubles matches were played first as Kutztown managed just three points in one of the three matches. Charleston took the No. 2 & 3 flights of singles to take the match, 5-0.
 
Against Bluefield State, singles matches were played first. All five matches were taken in straight sets.
 
The Golden Bears (9-8) will play in next week's PSAC Quarterfinals on Monday, April 14 at West Chester University. Match time is set for 3 p.m.
