MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Kutztown University women's tennis team stayed hot with its fifth straight victory in a 6-3 final at Millersville.

The Golden Bears (7-7, 4-0 PSAC East) swept the three doubles matches.
Hannah Pipkin (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) and
Ridhima Borooah (Guwahati-Assam, India/Modern School; Barakhamba Road; New Delhi) (Guwahati-Assam, India/Modern School) defeated Melissa Plowman and Samantha Prager 8-3 at first doubles. Second doubles saw
Tori Zander (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) and
Chelsea White (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove) (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) best Kara Fisher and Kelsey Waite 8-5.
Stefanie Fisher (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) and
Rachel Grula (Drums, PA/Hazleton Area) (Drums, Pa./Hazleton) finished off the sweep with an 8-4 victory over Alexandra Heller and Elizabeth Wagner 8-4.
Borooah picked up her second win of the match at second singles, 6-2, 6-1. Grula also remained perfect on the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Kara Fisher at third singles.
With the win locked up for KU, the match at sixth singles was decided via a single pro set. Zander joined Borooah and Grula as multiple winners with an 8-1 final against Anna Ageyeva.
The Golden Bears stay on the road for a match at Bloomsburg on April 10.
