Ridhima Borooah (Guwahati-Assam, India/Modern School; Barakhamba Road; New Delhi) (Guwahati-Assam, India/Modern School) won at second singles, but Bloomsburg otherwise defended its home courts in an 8-1 win over the Golden Bears.

Stefanie Fisher (New Holland, PA/Garden Spot) (New Holland, Pa./Garden Spot) teamed with
Rachel Grula (Drums, PA/Hazleton Area) (Drums, Pa./Hazleton Area) at third doubles and fell just 9-7 to Natalie Greenholt and Nicole Slagle. Fisher also hung tough at fifth singles, but fell 7-6, 7-5 to Slagle.
The Golden Bears look to get back in the win column on April 13 when Mercyhurst visits Kutztown.
