PHILADELPHIA (March 27, 2011) – The Kutztown University women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision to Philadelphia University at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center Sunday afternoon.
Winning matches for the Golden Bears were Chelsea White (Landenberg, PA/Avon Grove) and Brittany Parsons (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) at No. 4 and 5 singles, respectively. White won her match, 6-2, 6-3, and Parsons claimed a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
Kutztown returns to action Tuesday afternoon when it hosts Shippensburg University in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
