BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Olivia Solomon (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy), Beth Schearer (Springfield, Pa./Springfield) and Taylor Funk (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) all recorded Kutztown women's outdoor track & field top-10 times, while Natalie Holland (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) tied a PR that was fifth in program lore to highlight KU Friday at the Coach Pollard Invitational at Moravian University.
 
Schearer and Solomon both earned times that rank ninth in program history with their finishes on the track as Schearer's time of 57.84 gave her a second place finish and Solomon's 11:37.40 earned her fourth in the 3000m steeplechase. Holland and Funk both had best clearances of 3.65m (11-11.5) in the pole vault to place in the top-four overall and are in a tie for fifth at KU.
 
Other Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifiers from Friday include Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) in the 400m, Jensen Kraft (Nutley, N.J./Saint Mary) in the steeplechase, Delaney Beard (Sinking Spring, Pa./Governor Mifflin) in the triple jump, Marissa McNamee (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) in the pole vault and Maria Clark (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) in the shot put and discus throw. Beard also had a second-place finish in the triple jump with a best leap of 11.49m (37-8.25).
 
Kutztown concludes the regular season next weekend as groups will split and go to two different competitions. KU will be at the Penn Relays Thursday, April 24-through-Saturday, April 26, and will also be competing at the Paul Kiser Invitational at Shippensburg University that Saturday.
