LEWISBURG, Pa. -- Kutztown University women's track & field got PSAC qualifying marks from Taylor Funk (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) in the pole vault and Delaney Beard (Sinking Spring, Pa./Governor Mifflin) in the triple jump to conclude its weekend at the Bucknell-hosted Bison Outdoor Classic, Sunday.

Funk was the top finishing Golden Bear on the day, taking first of 16 competitors in the pole vault by clearing 3.51m (11-6.25). The sophomore from Denver, Pa., was tied with five other athletes but took the top spot by being the only athlete to clear 3.51m on her first attempt.

Kutztown placed two pole vaulters in the top 10 as Natalie Holland (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) had a top effort of 3.36m (11-0.25) to tie for eighth.

Beard achieved a PSAC cut with a best jump of 11.43m (37-6) to take 19th in the triple jump.

The Golden Bears also entered athletes in the 100m, 400m, 3000m and 400m hurdles on Sunday. Jensen Kraft (Nutley, N.J./Saint Mary) had the 14th best time of 44 runners in the 3000m with a 10:53.89, while Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) took 39th of 105 athletes to put in times in the 400m (59.32).

Kutztown will compete in a pair of meets next weekend: the two-day Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener on Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19, and the Moravian-hosted Coach Pollard Invitational on Friday.
