YORK, Pa. – Kutztown University men's swimming added three program top 10 times during a successful Wednesday at the PSAC Championships. RJ Otten (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) moved into third on the 200-yard butterfly list, Colby Orndorf (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) vaulted to fourth on the 500-yard freestyle list and the 200-yard medley relay team turned in the seventh-fastest time in team history.
 
Orndorf was locked in when prelims went off at 10 a.m., crushing his former personal best in the 500 free to take a spot in the B Final. The Berks County native and Governor Mifflin grad laid down a 4:47.20, more than nine seconds faster than his previous best (4:56.22), to move into fourth on KU's top 10 and rank 15th of 27 competitors in the event.
 
Joining Ordnorf in the finals was Otten in the 200 fly. Fresh off a school record in the 400 IM, Tuesday, Otten went 1:56.17 in prelims to jump three spots on the program top 10 from sixth to third and secure a spot in the B Final. The freshman from Ballston Spa, N.Y., backed up his 14th-place prelim swim with a 14th-place finish in the finals while lowering his time to 1:55.68, which remained third-fastest in program history.
 
Orndorf also matched his qualifying placement in the finals, taking 15th in the 500 free in 4:52.96.
 
Both finalists were part of Kutztown's 200 medley relay team along with Theo Miksa (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and Matheson Bair (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain). The quartet swam the seventh-quickest time in school history with a 1:38.09 to place eighth.
 
The Golden Bears still hold seventh in the team standings (110 pts.) heading into the final day of competition, Thursday. KU will be represented by Bair in the 100 free and Otten and Miksa in the 200 breast when prelims begin at 10 a.m.
