BETHANY, W.Va. – The Kutztown men's cross country team got its 2024 campaign started Thursday evening at the West Liberty Invitational.

The Golden Bears finished sixth out of nine teams after the 6k race.

Jacob Huber (Bethlehem, Pa./Saucon Valley) paced the lineup with a 20th place finish in a time of 20:07.
Adam Brocato (Reisterstown, Md./Calvert Hall) and
Peyton Small (Littlestown, Pa./Littlestown)s crossed the finish line right behind with a time of 20:08.
Connor Murphy (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth),
Cody Schabener (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township),
Kayden Platania (Buena, N.J./Buena Regional) and
Robby Lloyd (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) rounded out the KU lineup.

Kutztown will be back in competition next Friday, Sept. 13, as it hosts the annual Division II/III Challenge at North Campus Course. The men's meet starts at 5:45 p.m.
