Pole vaulter Joe Jardine (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) has been the story of the year for KU. The graduate transfer from Kentucky won all seven pole vault events he competed in this season. His best mark came at the Rauch Fieldhouse back at the Lehigh Fast Time Before Finals meet in December. The Schuylkill Valley product cleared the bar at 5.05m (16'6.75"), which still stands as the best jump in the PSAC and the 12th-best in the nation.

Gabe Sample (Reading, Pa./Muhlenberg) and Anthony DeFusco (Douglassville, Pa./Daniel Boone) both had solid campaigns and will come into the weekend looking for their first PSAC titles. Sample set the third-best jump in the conference with a 7.25m (23'9.5") mark in the long jump at the Bison Open & Multi. DeFusco also has the third-best mark in the PSAC in the triple jump with a mark of 14.53m (47'8") set back at the Bison Opener. High jumper Jordon Floyd (Westampton, N.J./Rancocas Valley Regional) comes into the weekend with the fourth-best mark in the PSAC after he cleared the bar at 1.98m (6'6").

Jacob Solonoski (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) has led the Golden Bears in the throwing department all season. The Weatherly, Pa. native threw 17.37m (57'0") in the weight throw at the Lehigh Fast Time Before Finals meet, which is still third entering the weekend.

On the track, Michael Fellin (Sheppton, Pa./Marian Catholic) and Adam Brocato (Reisterstown, Md./Calvert Hall) have top five times in the PSAC this season in the 60m and mile respectively. The distance medley relay squad of Brocato, Andrew Diehl (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle), Joe Cavalcante (Philadelphia, Pa./La Salle College H.S.), and Port Habalar (Williamsport, Pa./South Williamsport) will also pose a threat for a conference title, as they come into Lehigh with the second-best time in the PSAC of 10:15.70 set at the Bison Open & Multi
