Kutztown SIDEARM Website Redesign Launch Graphic 10/1/25

Kutztown, SIDEARM Sports partner to debut redesigned KUBears.com

KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Kutztown University and SIDEARM Sports partnered to launch a refreshed look for the Golden Bears' athletic website, KUBears.com, which was unveiled Wednesday, Oct. 1.

KUBears.com originally launched on SIDEARM's platform in the fall of 2010 and was redesigned for the first time in 2014. The two sides collaborated for another redesign in 2020 and that version of the site served fans and followers of KU athletics over the last five seasons.

"It's exciting to see months of design work come to fruition with the launch of a redesigned KUBears.com," said Matt Heffelfinger '07, director of sports information. "Our teams and student-athletes continue to raise the bar athletically, academically and in the community, and we want our athletics website to do the same as the vehicle for celebrating their stories and accomplishments."

KUBears.com is the hub for the latest news, results, recaps, rosters, schedules and statistics surrounding Kutztown University's 23 varsity athletic programs. Visitors can quickly access live event coverage, KU athletics social media channels, photos and videos, while finding information on KU sports camps, shopping for the newest Golden Bear gear and supporting the athletic department and its student-athletes.

The redesigned site aims to create a fresh look and feel while focusing on functionality and accessibility for visitors, particularly on mobile devices. The site utilizes SIDEARM's latest web platform and technologies. The responsive design allows users to experience the same site and features tailored to the device they're visiting KUBears.com on. Whether it's a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone, KUBears.com will reconfigure itself to fit each device.

"I'd like to thank SIDEARM Sports and their design team, especially project manager Susan Baiter" said Heffelfinger. "The redesign process is a massive undertaking, but Susan's team was there for us every step of the way, helping turn our ideas into a dynamic championship-level site."
