MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Two relay teams posted top-10 times in program history and
Taniyah Lawler (Chester, Pa./Chester), who was also a member of both, ran a NCAA provisional and personal-best time in the 400m hurdles final, leading Kutztown University women's track & field to a sixth-place finish Saturday on the final day of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships at Millersville University.

Lawler crossed the finish line second overall in a time of 1:01.99, which ranks second all-time in KU history, and also received eight team points. She was also a member of the 4x100 relay team with
Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough),
Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) and
Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) that recorded a time of 47.59 for second place and eight points. Lawler also led off the 4x400 relay team of herself, Bonner,
Angela Iaccarino (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) and
Jaidah Mitchell (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Township), which finished with a time of 3:54.68, seventh-best at KU, and fourth place overall out of the field.

Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) had a top-five finish in the 100m finals, earning four points. Both Solt and Bonner placed sixth in the 100m hurdles final and 400m final, respectively for three points.
Jaelyn D'Amelio (Manahawkin, N.J./Southern Regional) rounded out the KU point scorers with two, recording a personal-best in the 5000m with a time of 18:27.04.

Kutztown is not currently scheduled to compete in any additional meets, though the team may find a couple last chance meets for student-athletes trying to improve their NCAA Outdoor Championships qualifying prospects in the next few weeks. Nationals will once again be held in Allendale, Mich., on the campus of Grand Valley State, from May 26-28.
