MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Kutztown University women's track & field's 4x100m relay team of Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough), Taniyah Lawler (Chester, Pa./Chester), Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) and Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) ran a school-record time of 47.50 in the prelim to highlight day two at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships at Millersville University Friday.
 
The relay team moves from fourth (48.01) to first surpassing former school record of 47.78 by Destiny Distasio, Valerie Mizansky, Evan Dangerfield and Kimberly Richardson at the 2015 PSAC Outdoor Championships.
 
Gabby Payne (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) reached the medal stage by finishing third in the long jump with a personal-best jump of 5.64m (18'6"), which ranks fourth all-time in program history, while earning six team points. Kacie Sienko (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) contributed four points, placing fifth.
 
Skylar Miller (Topton, Pa./Brandywine Heights) had a career-best finish in the heptathlon, earning seventh place out of 16 competitors with 4023 points, 10th all-time at KU, and got her two team points. She had PRs in the javelin and 800m, winning the javelin at 36.91m (121'1"), ninth all-time.
 
Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) improved on a PR in the 100m, placing fourth at 12.25, third-best in KU history. Taniyah Lawler (Chester, Pa./Chester) crossed the finish line first in the 400m hurdles with a personal-best time of 1:02.45, third all-time. Lynne O'Connor (Southampton, Pa./William Tennent) had a PR in the 3,000m steeplechase at 11:55.23, ninth at KU. Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) qualified for the 100m hurdles and 400m, respectively.
 
Myah Davies (New Market, Md./Linganore) earned six team points in the pole vault, finishing third, while Kathleen Silverman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) was tied for sixth and received two team points.
 
Kutztown sits in a tie for third overall in the team standings out of 15 teams with 27 points.
 
Action resumes on the third and final day of PSAC Championships tomorrow, Saturday, May 14, at 11 a.m.
