EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Five Kutztown University women's track & field student-athletes won six events, along with a team event in the 4x4 relay to highlight KU at the Deschriver Invitational Saturday at East Stroudsburg University.
 
Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) won both the 55m and 200m with personal-best times. Her 7.31 in the 55m pushes her to fourth all-time in program history. Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) and Madeline Barney (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) finished first in the 55m hurdles and 5000m respectively, and the 4x4 relay team consisting of Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), Taniyah Lawler (Chester, Pa./Chester), Angela Iaccarino (Monroe, N.Y./Monroe-Woodbury) and Jaidah Mitchell (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Township) were the first team to cross the finish line.
 
Ally Tama (Towanda, Pa./Towanda) and Alexa Gulliver (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) were victories in field events, the pole vault and long jump, respectively. Tama's best clearance of 3.75m (12-3.50) was a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying mark. She was joined by Myah Davies (New Market, Md./Linganore) and Kathleen Silverman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) with PSAC marks in the pole vault. Davies' best vault of 3.60m (11-9.75) is a personal-best and moves her into a tie for fifth all-time in KU history.
 
10 Golden Bears earned PRs in their respective events, including Julianna Elsesser (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland), Colleen Gilbert (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg), Foster, Markya Wallace (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East), Mitchell, Anastasia Fratanduono (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), Ashley Ryan (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus), Celia Diloretto, Molly Kutz (Pen Argyl, Pa./Pen Argyl) and Haleigh Davis (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley).
 
Kutztown will be competing at the Fastrack National Invite next Friday, Feb. 11, in Staten Island, N.Y.
