BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Brianna Foster (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) made her collegiate debut in Maroon and Gold in style, coming just 0.04 shy of a school record in the 60m final to highlight the Kutztown University women's indoor track & field team at the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals meet in Bethlehem.
 
Foster posted a 7.74 in the 60m final, a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying time and also second all-time in program history, 0.04 behind recent record holder, Kelly Groth's mark. She finished second overall in the event. Foster also ran in the 200m.
 
Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) also placed second in her event, the 60H final, crossing the finish line in a qualifying time of 9.28. Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin), Devon Montanari (Northampton, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) and Taniyah Lawler (Chester, Pa./Chester) also earned PSAC marks in their respective events for the Golden Bears, who competed in their first indoor event since the 2019-20 season.
 
Kacie Sienko (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) recorded a top-five finish in the long jump, with her best jump coming at 5.14m (16'10.5"). The 4x400 relay team of Montanari, Lawler, Foster and Jaidah Mitchell (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Township) placed third overall in a time of 4:04.53.
 
Kutztown will have a little over a month off until its next competition, its annual home meet, the Golden Bear Invitational on Friday, Jan. 14, from O'Pake Fieldhouse.
