BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- Josh Carl (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and
Nolan Perugini (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) of the Kutztown University men's tennis team will be traveling back to Bloomsburg University for the second and final day of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships tomorrow, Sunday, Sept. 30, after advancing to the final in the men's doubles bracket Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg.

It is the first time competing at the championships for both the junior and the senior. The duo took down Edinboro University's Kevin Mboko and Julius Schulte in the first round, and then defeated host team's Lucas Pedrotti and Bernardo Abreu of the Huskies in the quarterfinals. Both were by scores of 8-3. They will now face Cormac McCooey and Unai Amilleta Gonzalez of Mercyhurst at approximately 9 a.m.

Perugini was also victorious in the opening round of the singles tournament beating Sebastian Pardo of the Lakers 6-4, 7-5.

Carl and
Benjamin Kelly (Medina, Ohio/Highland) each dropped their first round singles matches. Kelly had his match go to a tiebreaker, as he fell 5-7, 6-4, 10-8.
