LOCK HAVEN, Pa. -- Dang Nguyen (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam/) and Henrique Rocha (Jaticua, Brazil/Escola SEB Maceio) of the Kutztown University men's tennis team were recognized as all-conference selections for the first time in their careers, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced Friday afternoon.

Nguyen was named All-PSAC First Team Singles and landed on the First Team Doubles with Rocha.

A native of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Nguyen was the catalyst for a Kutztown team that posted a 13-5 overall record and returned to the PSAC Championship tournament for the first time since 2018. The sophomore played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Golden Bears, going 11-7 in singles (11-5 at No. 1) and 10-9 in doubles (9-6 at No. 1). He was 2-2 in PSAC singles matches and 3-1 in league doubles play.

Nguyen gives the Maroon and Gold All-PSAC First Team Singles honorees in back-to-back years after Gonzalo Barcelo (San Pedro, Argentina/Nuestra Senora del Socorro) was a 2023-24 pick.

Rocha, from Jaticua, Brazil, shared the team lead with 11 doubles wins (11-10), including a 10-9 mark in tandem with Nguyen. The duo were 9-6 in dual matches, all at flight one, and 3-1 against PSAC opponents.
