BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The No. 2 doubles duo of Nolan Perugini (Reading, Pa./Exeter Township) and Josh Carl (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) won their match 8-3, highlighting the Kutztown University men's tennis team's 5-1 defeat to Edinboro University in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) semifinals at Bloomsburg University.
 
The defeat halts a six-match win streak for the Golden Bears (10-4 overall).
 
Third-seeded KU fell in every singles set, ultimately dropping the match.
 
It is the second time in the last three years that KU has competed in the PSAC Tournament, and ninth in the last 10 seasons.
 
KU will now await its NCAA postseason fate, when it will find out if it qualifies for the Atlantic Regional Tournament on Tuesday, Apr. 24. The regional tournament begins Monday, Apr. 30.
