Kira Solt (Hillsborough, N.J./Hillsborough) of the Kutztown University track & field programs opened up the 2018-19 indoor season competing in the multi's, and sophomore
Ally Tama (Towanda, Pa./Towanda Area) earned a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)-qualifying and top-10 KU mark in the pole vault to highlight day one of the Fast Times Before Finals meet Friday night at Lehigh University.

Tama led a group of four Golden Bears competing in the pole vault. Tama hit a new PSAC-qualifying mark with a personal-best jump of 3.35m (10-11.75), which ranks tied for 10th in program history.
Kathleen Silverman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and
Katie Seegert (Old Saybrook, Conn./Old Saybrook) both placed inside the top-10 and
Abigail Zeger (Fayetteville, Pa./Chambersburg Area) rounded out the lineup.

Oliver placed second in the high jump portion of the heptathlon clearing 1.92m (6-3.50), which is a personal-best. He actually posted personal-bests in three of the four events he competed in. Through four events, Oliver sits in fourth place in the standings, just two points behind fourth place.

In her first collegiate action, Solt posted a qualifying time in the 60m hurdles at a time of 9.55, which ranks ninth all-time at KU. She finished 11th in the pentathlon overall.
