BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback in a road Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) matchup to Bloomsburg University Tuesday.
 
KU (2-12, 1-4 PSAC) senior Rich Lichtenwalner (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) dropped a close battle out of the No. 3 spot in singles, losing 6-3, 7-5.  David Nunez Contreras (Madrid, Spain/Mater Immaculata) followed him in the No. 4 spot, dropping another tight contest, 7-5, 6-3.
 
Joan Oliver Perez (Andratx, Spain/IES Baltasar Porcel) and Gabriel Nogara Souza (Curitiba, Brazil/Dom Bosco) fell in the opening doubles match, 8-3.  Lichtenwalner and Contreras played out of the No. 2 spot, losing 8-4.

The Golden Bears end their regular season with three non-conference matchups.  KU next returns to the court in a road match against Philadelphia University on Monday, April 18 at 3 p.m.
