KUTZTOWN, Pa. – The Kutztown University men's tennis team finished its fall season with a 6-3 loss to Division I opponent LaSalle University at the Keystone Tennis Courts.

Kutztown split the six singles matches, but lost all three doubles matches. Varun Desai (Mumbai, India/K.C. College) finished the fall 6-1 in singles competition after defeating Chas Berenato, 6-2 and 6-4. Meanwhile, Rushi Amin (Orefield, PA/Lake Brantley) closed out an unblemished fall with a 7-0 singles mark after edging De'Sean Fennell in three sets, 4-6, 7-6 and 10-8. Finally, Matthew Maguire picked up his first win of the season, defeating Joseph LaBate, who retired in the second set.

LaSalle won the final three seeds to close out the morning with the victory. The defeat closed Kutztown's fall record at 2-1.

The match concludes the fall season for the Golden Bears, who next play in the spring.
