Women's tennis sweep their way past Tiffin University

HILTON HEAD, S.C. (March 10, 2010) - The Kutztown University women's tennis eased past Tiffin University with a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday afternoon at Hilton Head.

Rohini Das and Radhima Borooah were near perfect on the day, with an 8-1 win at the first singles flight. The one lost set was the only the two would suffer on the day, as each won in their respective singles match by a score of 6-0, 6-0.

The No. 3 doubles duo of Rachel Grula and Chelsea White won 8-0, while Sabrina Arnaud (Quebec, CANADA/) and Nicole Devine were 8-3 winners in the second flight.

Arnaud (No. 2) and Tess Wright (No. 6) were each 6-0, 6-0 winners in their singles matches. Megan Groh was a 6-1, 6-1 victor at No. 5 singles over Rennee Muttson and Devine won her sets 6-0, 7-5.

The Golden Bears will take to the court again on Thursday with a match agianst the University of Charleston (W. Va.).
