Golden Bears continue dominance at Builder Invitational

HAMPTON, VA. (February 20, 2010) - The Kutztown University baseball team finished off the round robin portion of the Builder Invitational with 16-6 win over Bloomsburg University on Saturday evening.  (BOXSCORE)

Jared Frey led the Golden Bears with three hits and one run scored, while Mike Kacelowicz smacked two hits and scored three runs.

Tyler Persun threw the first 3 2/3 inning allowing only three runs while striking out two. Mike Bucklin picked up the win pitching the final 3 1/3 innings and striking out five.

The Golden Bears used a 10-run seventh inning to drop the Huskies in seven innings. James Quigley had two hits and two RBIs.

The Golden Bears will go for their sixth straight Builder Invitational title on Sunday afternoon.
