BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Jensen Kraft (Nutley, N.J./Saint Mary) ran to a third-place finish in the mile as the Kutztown University women's track & field team capped the two-day PSAC Indoor Championships at Lehigh University's Rauch Fieldhouse, Sunday.
Kraft earned her first career PSAC individual medal and second career medal with her bronze performance. The senior from Nutley, N.J., finished in 5:01.68, capping an indoor season that also saw her set the program's mile record at the Widener Indoor Classic (4:57.76).
Kraft was one of two point-scorers for the Golden Bears on Sunday along with
Maria Clark (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) in the shot put. Clark placed eighth with a top throw of 12.35m (40-6.25).
Also representing KU were
Mackey Donovan (Blauvelt, N.Y./Tappan Zee), who finished 12th in the 800m, and the 4x400m relay, which took 12th.
Kutztown placed 10th in the team standings with 23.5 points. Slippery Rock captured the team title with 98.5 points, with East Stroudsburg second (88) and Bloomsburg third (85).
