PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – One week after reaching a personal-best, Jensen Kraft (Nutley, N.J./Saint Mary) once again out did herself as the senior ran the mile even faster her next time out, setting a new program record Saturday, as three other Golden Bears recorded Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks at the Widener Indoor Classic in Philadelphia.
 
Kraft, who last week ended the mile at 5:02.31, crossed the finish line third out of 56 competitors in a record time of 4:57.76. Also on the track, Mackey Donovan (Blauvelt, N.Y./Tappan Zee) ran to a PSAC time of 2:21.97 in the 800m.
 
In field events Saturday, Taylor Funk (Denver, Pa./Cocalico) cleared a best mark of 3.50m (11-5.75) in the pole vault, finishing sixth out of 27 vaulters for a PSAC mark. Friday night at Widener, Maria Clark (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) posted a furthest throw of 12.51m (41-05) in the shot put, good for sixth out of 47 competitors and a PSAC mark.
 
A foursome of runners also competed at the Susquehanna University Valentine Invite in Selinsgrove and all placed inside the top 10 out of 25 competitors. Lizzie Brown (Wallingford, Conn./Mark T. Sheehan) was second at 18:55.68,  Sage Dunkleberger (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run) placed sixth at 19:56.67, Nina Castellano (Hasbrouck Heights, N.J./Hasbrouck Heights) finished seventh at 20:11.51 and Allie Pavone (Broomall, Pa./Marple Newtown) was ninth at 20:22.33.
 
The Golden Bears are scheduled to wrap up the regular season with the Kutztown Last Chance Meet at O'Pake Fieldhouse next Friday, Feb. 20, beginning at 4 p.m.
