KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Brooke Graham (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) secured a runner-up finish in leading the Kutztown University women's golf team to a tie for fifth place in the team standings as the 2025 PSAC Championship concluded Sunday afternoon at Berkleigh Golf Club.
Graham, a sophomore, made it back-to-back top five finishes after improving upon last year's third-place showing. She shot 10-over 82 in the final round with 10 pars and a birdie to complete the 54-hole tournament with a score of 23-over par 239 (80-77-82). The Carlisle, Pa., native overcame some early adversity to make the turn at 5-over 40 and shot a 5-over 42 coming in that included a birdie on the par 4, 364-yard 17th. Graham became Kutztown's highest individual finisher at the PSAC Championship since Shannon Weber took second at the 2017 championship, when it was still held during the fall semester.
Graham entered the final round three shots off the leading pace of Gannon's Ditte Petersen. Though the Golden Bears weren't paired with Gannon in the player groupings, Graham, who took to the course did her best to stay within striking range of the two-time defending conference champion. Her 82 was tied for the third best round of the day and just three shots behind Petersen's day-best 79, which allowed the Golden Knight standout to win her third consecutive title at 233 (78-76-79). West Chester's Morgan Kunze, who entered the day tied with Graham, did play in the group with Petersen and recorded a 15-over 87 to slip to seventh overall.
Unfortunately the Golden Bears were unable to maintain their stronghold on fourth place in the team standings as Bloomsburg bettered the Maroon and Gold by 14 shots in the final round to gap KU by eight shots. The fifth-place finish was Kutztown's fourth top five at the PSAC Championship in the last five years and second in a row after last year's fourth-place performance.
Gabby Cohen (Jeffersonville, N.Y./Sullivan West) turned in Kutztown's second-lowest round of the day with a 91. She made eight pars, five of which came on the back nine. Cohen finished 30th overall at 266 (86-89-91).
Rhi Stutz (Prescott, Wisc./Prescott) ended the tournament 29th, second-best among the Golden Bears. She battled through a tough stretch Sunday to record a 94 with one par but fell six spots on the individual leaderboard. Stutz turned in a 265 for the weekend (87-84-94).
Alexis Peet (Greentown, Pa./Wallenpaupack) carded a 95 with four pars and
Grace Klements (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Pinelands Regional) had four pars of her own during a round of 96. Klements took 35th with a three-day total of 275 (85-94-96), while Peet was 39th at 280 (96-89-95).
Gannon continued its run atop the PSAC with its sixth consecutive team title after shooting 102-over 966 for the tournament. The Golden Knights bested West Chester by 20 shots (986). Millersville (1003) and Bloomsburg (1031). KU and Clarion finished tied for fifth at 1039.
