KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Olivia Kirkpatrick (Annville, Pa./Palmyra) collected her second straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Defensive Athlete of the Week recognition, announced Tuesday.
 
In the lone game last week for the top-ranked Golden Bears (18-0 overall, 9-0 PSAC), Kirkpatrick came up big for the Kutztown defense as her defensive save in the second half helped keep No. 2 Shippensburg off the scoreboard in a 2-0 win in the regular season finale last Saturday night. It was her first defensive save in Maroon and Gold and helped KU remain unbeaten on the season at 18-0.
 
Kutztown secured the top seed in this week's PSAC Tournament and will host the final four this weekend. KU's next game, a PSAC semifinal, will take place at 3 p.m., this Friday, Nov. 7, from Andre Reed Stadium. The Maroon and Gold will take on the winner of No. 5 IUP at No. 4 West Chester, who play in the quarterfinal round today at 4 p.m.
