INDIANAPOLIS – The Kutztown University women's soccer team was among nine Atlantic Region teams included in the NCAA's first regional rankings of the 2025 season, the organization announced this week.
The Atlantic Region Rankings include teams from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) and the Mountain East Conference (MEC). The first edition of the regional rankings is in alphabetical order, with numerical rankings to be released next week.
The PSAC makes up a majority of the region's rankings, with the East Division seeing KU, Bloomsburg, Shepherd and West Chester earn recognition, while the West Division had Slippery Rock, Gannon and Indiana (Pa.) take a trio of spots.
The MEC had a pair of 11-win teams selected, as Fairmont State came out of the North Division, and West Virginia State was the lone team from the South Division.
The PSAC East Division remains up for grabs heading into the final week of games, with West Chester, Kutztown, and Millersville holding spots in the top three, and Shepherd and Bloomsburg sitting in fourth and fifth. Teams have between one and three games remaining on their schedules, with regular season play set to wrap up next Wednesday, Nov. 5.
The rankings comes out hours before Kutztown faces Bloomsburg, with kickoff between the Golden Bears and Huskies set for 4 p.m. KU will conclude the regular season against Shippensburg at Keystone Field next Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 3 p.m.
