KUTZTOWN, Pa. -- Matheson Bair (Orwigsburg, Pa./Blue Mountain), Theo Miksa (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East), Colby Orndorf (Reading, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and RJ Otten (Ballston Spa, N.Y./Ballston Spa) claimed event victories as the Kutztown University men's swim team returned to action after more than a month away for winter break, Friday. The Golden Bears fell to Ursinus 153-83 inside the Keystone Natatorium.

Miksa was the lone KU swimmer to post a PSAC cut time, doing so in winning the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:17.52.

Bair was the first Golden Bear to secure an event win with his 1:49.82 in the 200 freestyle. Otten followed with the top time of 2:03.93 in the 200 butterfly.

Orndorf made it back-to-back event victories for Kutztown (0-7), following Miksa's victory with one of his own in 500 freestyle (5:04.62).

In addition to its four wins, the Golden Bears racked up six runner-up finishes, two of which came from Otten (100 fly, 200 IM).

Kutztown will turn around to compete in the John A. Pidgeon Memorial Invitational at Big Spring High School on Saturday beginning at 9 a.m.
