ERIE, Pa. – Kutztown women's golf placed sixth out of eight teams after improving by 14 strokes in its second round score from round one to conclude the two-day Gannon Spring Invitational Sunday at Whispering Woods Golf Club.

KU, which had a round one score of 364, ended the second round 14 shots better with a 350.

Brooke Graham (Carlisle, Pa./Boiling Springs) led the Golden Bears' lineup, finishing with an 81 Sunday for a total, two-round score of 161 (+17), tied for 13th in the field of 47 golfers. She was just two shots off a top-eight spot in the leaderboard and paced her team with 22 pars.

Rhi Stutz (Prescott, Wisc./Prescott) was tied for 28th overall with a 180 (+36) and improved by four strokes from day one with a second round score of an 88.
Grace Klements (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J./Pinelands Regional) had the biggest overall improvement from the two rounds on the team, going from a 97 in the opening round to an 87 at the end of the invitational for a 184 (+40). She finished with 12 pars and a birdie.

Grace Babinchak (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton) was tied for 39th and had a one stroke improvement and shot a 94 in the second round to finish with a total score of 189 (+45). She had four pars.
Gabby Cohen (Jeffersonville, N.Y./Sullivan West) rounded out the lineup in 43rd with a 197 (+53) total and a seven shot improvement from round one (102) to round two (95).

Kutztown is set to compete in its final tournament of the spring regular season on Saturday, April 20, at the East Stroudsburg Spring Invitational.
