LAKEWOOD, N.J. – The Kutztown acrobatics & tumbling team competed in its second matchday of the 2024 season Friday night and earned its second victory, defeating Georgian Court on the road, 245.840-166.320.

The Golden Bears (2-1 overall) split a tri-meet in the season opener back on Feb. 10, defeating East Stroudsburg, but falling to Gannon.

KU led from the opening event until the very end, taking an 86.35-60.70 advantage after the first half. It recorded two scores above a 9 out of the four heats in the compulsory event. The Maroon and Gold had a 9.3 in the pyramid heat and a 9.2 in the toss heat. Their highest score of the night came in heat one of the acro event when they recorded a 9.65 out of a possible 10 point start.

Kutztown is back in action next weekend as it remains on the road to take on Stevenson next Saturday, March 2, at 2 p.m.
