LEWISBURG, Pa.-- Brianna Foster's (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley Park) record-setting performance in the long jump highlighted a successful first day for the Kutztown University women's track & field at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) at Bucknell University on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Bears sit sixth with 15 points after the first day of events. 

The jumper from Ridley Park, Pa. set a mark of 5.69 meters (18'8") in the long jump, which sits atop the KU record books. Her performance also set an NCAA provisional mark, the first by a Golden Bear this season. Kacie Sienko's (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy) 5.47-meter jump in the same event was also the sixth-best mark in KU history. 

Another record was set by Kiana Young (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) in the 200-meter dash. Her 25.75 time is the fourth-best mark in program history and also helped her qualify for Sunday's final. Raechel Bonner (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) also made Sunday's final in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.24, good enough for fourth place.

KU's other point-getters came from Myah Davies (New Market, Md./Linganore) and her fifth-place finish in the pole vault and the distance medley relay team of Anastasia Fratanduono (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), Jaidah Mitchell (Pemberton, N.J./Pemberton Township), Ava Bendetti (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland), and Colleen Gilbert (Willow Street, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg). Rhianne Markovchick (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) represented KU in the pentathlon, finishing in 14th.

The Golden Bears are back in action for day two of the PSAC Indoor Championship on Sunday. The first events of the day will kick off at 11:30 a.m.
